2025 in Review and What’s to Come

As much as I love the Christmas season, the excitement and anticipation for a brand new year always snaps me out of my holiday carb coma. It feels so fresh, doesn’t it?

Now, maybe you’re like my wife who doesn’t get all jazzed up about “getting vision for a new year”. A year ago – 15 minutes after the ball dropped in New York City – she winks at me, places a big ‘ol bite of peanut butter pie in her mouth, and confidently mumbles “New year, same me”. I love that girl. She keeps me grounded while my head is in the clouds

Peanut butter pie aside, we like to do two things in the New Year: Reflect on the prior year (plus give thanks!) and gather vision for the next one. We’re a couple months into the New Year, so maybe you’ve already done this on a personal or professional level.

I would like to do the same thing with The Well Global.

Firstly, all of us at The Well Global want to thank you for helping make these things possible. Jesus’ command to go into the nations and make disciples takes all of us. Whether it’s going, sending, receiving, praying, or mobilizing – we all have a part to play. Thank you for standing side by side with us in taking the Gospel to the nations.

Here are some fun numbers:

  • We sent 8 Short Term missionaries (Alexa Troyer, Mya Wengerd, Gracie Keim, Cooper Torrence, Alvin Troyer, Kirsten Steiner, Kailyn Peck, & Daniel Troyer)

  • We sent 3 Long Term Missionaries (Adam Laybourn, Caleb Braun, & Mary Beth Yoder)

  • We took 3 Short-Term Mission Trips (Brazil x2 & Sweden/Iceland)

  • 22 people were sent on short term trips

  • 12 countries were impacted! (Brazil, Sweden, Iceland, Thailand, Honduras, Chile, Ukraine, Jamaica, Cambodia, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda)

  • 27 houses were built (Thanks Alvin and YWAM Kiev:)

  • 46+ decisions made for Christ!

We thank God for his Spirit, which makes all these things possible, and we thank you for being part of the harvest-reward of the nations!

Looking ahead to 2026:

As of now, The Well Global does not have a mission trip planned for 2026. It is possible that an open trip to Brazil will happen in November.

With that being the case, we want to make you aware of other mission trip opportunities.

We have a great relationship with European Initiative, whose priority is reaching the continent of Europe with the simple Gospel. There are opportunities to go to Turkey in May or on a 40 or 20 day mission across all different countries in June and July! Our church has greatly benefited from this partnership. You can visit their website here: https://www.europeaninitiative.com

Do you know of anyone that is considering taking a gap year of missions? We currently have Short Term missionaries sent out to Charis Bible College, Jesus School, and YWAM — we’d love to help you or a friend connect to the mission God is calling them to!

If you have any questions, or need an encouragement to go, send me an email at danny@thewellglobal.net

We are excited to see what God has in store for this year. Thank you for being a part of the mission!
